Use the Client Services Tabs administration page to define a layout template that will be used to setup what content goes in the Client Services Clients tab located on the Client Services administration page. The filter can be configured to appear at the top or bottom of the page, and can also be configured to be minimized by default. The default height can also be defined (in percentages). The Clients List can be configured to appear on the right or left of the page, and can also be configured to be minimized by default. The default width can also be defined (in percentages). The three layout panes for the Client Items List, Client Contacts List, and Client Information (Demographics) can be configured in the remaining space. For ease of use, these are referred to as Area A, Area B, and Area C. Area A is always visible, but its content may be defined by the user. Area B and Area C may be minimized by default, or completely hidden from the page. Their default size may also be configured. Area B and Area C may be configured to appear above, below, or to either side of Area A. There is a Layout Configuration button that will automatically generate a layout based on 10 pre-defined layouts. Areas A and B may be further fine-tuned after selecting a different layout template. The Update Preview button will update the screen mock-up on the Customization administration page to reflect the current settings on the page. A signed-in location setting has been added to define the Client Services layout template. This template will be used for displaying a different layout. If none are specified, the default layout will be used.

Viewing the Client Services Tab Layout List

  1. The Client Services Tab Layout List section contains a list of up to ten Client Services layout templates that will be used to setup what content goes in the Client Services Clients tab located on the Client Services administration page. Click on a template name to edit the template. If the list is longer than one page, use the Page links, located below the list of routing rules, to navigate through the list.
  2. To view active Client Services layout templates only, select the Show active only checkbox at the top of the Client Services Tabs page. You may set the inactive/active status in the Client Services Tab Layout Configuration section of the Client Services Tabs details page. See "Adding or Editing the Client Services Tab Layout Configuration Page" below.
  3. Enter the name of a Client Services layout template in the Name field to search for a specific layout template. This is a search-as-you-type field and will automatically update the Client Services layout template list. If no matching records are found, click the Refresh button to refresh the page and begin a new search.
  4. Click the Add button to navigate to the Client Services Tab Layout Configuration page if you cannot find the desired Client Services layout template. Here you may create a new Client Services layout template from scratch by using the the three layout panes for the Client Items List, Client Contacts List, and Client Information (Demographics). See "Adding or Editing the Client Services Tab Layout Configuration Page" below.
  5. Click the name of a Client Services layout template on the Client Services Tabs list page to view or edit template information on the Client Services Tabs details page. Click the Save button to save any changes made to the template.

Adding or Editing the Client Services Tab Layout Configuration Page

  1. Enter the name of the Client Services layout template in the Name field. This field is required. Select the Active checkbox to make the Client Services layout template have an active status within Copia.
  2. Select options from the Display Filter ___ at the ___ with default height ___ % drop-down lists to configure the Client List Filter. Select a display filter from the Display Filter drop-down list. Select either "Displayed" or "Minimized" from the drop-down list. The default selection is "Displayed." Select a location for the filter from the at the drop-down list. Select either "At the Top" or "At the Bottom." The default selection is "At the Top." Enter a default height value in the with default height field. The default height is defined in percentages and defaults to a 25% height.
  3. Select options from the Display Client List ___ at the ___ with default width ___ % drop-down lists to configure the Client List. Select a display list from the Display Client List drop-down list. Select either "Displayed" or "Minimized" from the drop-down list. The default selection is "Displayed." Select a location for the list from the at the drop-down list. Select either "To the Left" or "To the Right." The default selection is "To the Left." Enter a default width value in the with default width field. The default width is defined in percentages and defaults to a 25% width.
  4. Click the ___ is ALWAYS VISIBLE drop-down list to configure what appears in Area A (the green panel). Select either "Client Contacts," "Client Information," or "Client Items List" from the drop-down list to select what appears in Area A. "Client Information" is selected by default. Whichever choice is selected from the drop-down list, that selection will always be visible on the Client Services layout template.
  5. Click the ___ is ___ ___ of Area A with default width ___ % drop-down lists to configure what appears in Area B (the yellow panel), how it appears, where it appears, and the size of the panel width (in percentages). Select either "Client Contacts," "Client Information," or "Client Items List" from the first drop-down list to select what appears in Area B. "Client Contacts" is selected by default. Select either "Displayed," "Hidden," or "Minimized" from the second drop-down list to select how the information appears in Area B. "Displayed" is selected by default. Select either "At the Top," "At the Bottom," "To the Right," or "To the Left" from the third drop-down list to select where the information appears in Area B. "To the Right" is selected by default. Enter a percentage value in the final field to configure the width of Area B. The default percentage value is 40%.
  6. Click the ___ is ___ ___ of Area A with default height ___ % drop-down lists to configure what appears in Area C (the orange panel), how it appears, where it appears, and the size of the panel height (in percentages). Select either "Client Contacts," "Client Information," or "Client Items List" from the first drop-down list to select what appears in Area C. "Client Items List" is selected by default. Select either "Displayed," "Hidden," or "Minimized" from the second drop-down list to select how the information appears in Area C. "Displayed" is selected by default. Select either "At the Top," "At the Bottom," "To the Right," or "To the Left" from the third drop-down list to select where the information appears in Area C. "At the Bottom" is selected by default. Enter a percentage value in the final field to configure the height of Area C. The default percentage value is 45%.
  7. Click the Load Pre-defined button to load pre-defined layout configurations in Copia via the Layout Configurations pop-up. Click one of the options that includes Areas A, B, and C that matches your desired panel configuration for the Client Services layout template. Once you have clicked one of the pre-defined layout options, click the Select button at the bottom of the pop-up to apply that layout to the template. Click the X button to close the pop-up without making any changes.
  8. Click the Update Preview button to update the panel section based on the configurations you made in the above settings. Clicking this button will automatically apply the changes to the panels.
  9. The five panels that appear at the bottom of the Client Services Tab Layout Configuration page act as previews for the configurations made to the Client Services layout template.
  10. Click the Save button to save configurations made to the Client Services layout template. Click the < Back to List button to return to the Client Services Tab Layout List page without saving changes to the template.
