Adding or Editing Image Maps
  1. Enter in the Image Map field the name of the image map.
  2. Select the Active checkbox to enable users to select this image map while ordering. Clear this checkbox to restrict users from selecting the image map. If the image map is inactive, Copia displays "no" in the Active column in the Image Maps section on the System Defaults administration page. See the Admin: System Defaults topic.
  3. Click the Add Area button in the Image Map Areas section to define an area for the image map. Once the button is clicked, several options will appear: Populate Select, Shape, Coordinates, Text, and Remove.
  4. Select the Populate Select radio button next to a row in the image map area table in order to add coordinates by clicking on the image. Select the shape (circle, polygon, or rectangle) of the area image map by clicking on the Shape drop-down list.
  5. Click on the center of the image to begin defining the image map. For example, the shape that will be used is a circle. Click on the outer edge of the circle to define. As you define the image map, coordinates will appear in the Coordinates field. If the coordinates field (located in the Image Map Areas section) already has three values, the field will be cleared upon the next click.
  6. Enter text into the Text field once you have defined your image map. This should be concise and relevant to the image. For example, if the image map is an arm, enter "Arm" into the Text field. This text will be used to define the image map when searching for the image map on a different page.
  7. Click the X button to remove the area from the Edit Image Map page.
  8. Click the Test button to test your image map coordinates in the Image Map pop-up. Here you will be able to view the image map with its respected shape and coordinates before applying the changes.
  9. Click the Cancel button to return to the System Defaults page without saving any changes.
  10. Click the Save button to record changes and return to the System Defaults page.
