If you accessed this page while comparing insurance plans for validation or merging, you may use this page to compare and possibly merge non-validated insurance information with validated insurance information, as well as validate non-validated insurance plans.

If you accessed this page while comparing practice-specific and system insurance plans, then you may use this page to compare and possibly map the practice-specific insurance plan to the system maintained plan. Once insurance information is mapped, Copia determines whether to send practice-specific or system maintained insurance information based on the settings for each host in the Interface Configuration administration page. See the Admin: Interface Configuration topic.

Accessing this Page

• Click the Compare Selected Plans button on the Validate Insurance page. The mode of the Validate Insurance administration page is in affects what features are available on this page.

1. Copia displays the details for the non-validated and the validated insurance plans side by side for comparison. This information includes company name, plan name, company demographics, and host codes. Compare the plans to determine if they are potential matches.
2. To validate the non-validated plan, click the Validate button to validate the plan using the Insurance page. See the Admin: Insurance topic.
3. Click Cancel to return to the Validate Insurance page without making any changes.
4. To merge the plans by moving the non-validated plan's values to the valid plan and deleting the non-validated plan, click the Merge button.
5. Copia displays a pop-up message to ask if you want to continue. Click OK to continue and return to the Validate Insurance page.

1. Copia displays the details for the practice-specific and system maintained insurance plans side by side for comparison. This information includes company name, plan name, company demographics, and host codes. Compare the plans to determine if you wish to map the practice plan to the system plan.
2. To map the practice-specific insurance plan, click the Map button.
3. Click Cancel to return to the Validate Insurance page without making any changes.
