Admin: Synchronization

Page Description

Use the Synchronization page to view the synchronization process of files between Orchard Harvest LIS or Orchard Pathology and Copia. Select a tab to view the pertinent information. The Queue tab allows you to view pending synchronizations, based on your filter settings. The Activity Log tab allows you to view a list of completed synchronizations, based on your filter settings. The Details tab allows you to view details for selected synchronizations, as well as to synch or unsynch selected files.

Accessing Synchronization Tabs

  1. Click the Queue tab to view pending synchronizations.
  2. Click the Activity Log tab to view a list of completed synchronizations.
  3. Click the Details tab to view details for selected synchronizations.

Viewing Queue Actions

  1. Click the Queue tab to view pending synchronizations. The Synch Version will be displayed at the top.
  2. Click the Host drop-down list to view available hosts to filter by. This defaults to All. Click the Show inactive hosts checkbox to show inactive hosts in the search.
  3. Select a radio button from the Display Messages option on the Synchronization page. Select either All, Complete, Failed, or In progress to filter accordingly.
  4. Select a checkbox from the Record Types option on the Synchronization page to search for a specific queue. Select Location, User, Order Choice, User Defined Field, Race, Ethnicity, and/or Specimen Source to narrow the search for matching records. When the checkboxes are selected, the queue field will reload automatically.
  5. Enter a date and time in the format MM/DD/YYYY, HH:MM AM/PM in the Start and End fields, or select a date from the calendar view by clicking the calendar icon located next to the fields. The start date defaults to 12:00 AM on the current date, and the end date defaults to 11:59 PM on the current date. Click Now to enter the current date and time. Click Clear to clear the date and time fields.
  6. Enter a record name into the Record Name field to search for a specific record. If the record does not exist, "No matching records found" will appear in the display area.
  7. Once you filter the list, Copia displays the Name, Record Type, Status, Created, Host, Message Type, Attempts, and Last Attempt for each instance where a synchronization is pending.
  8. Click the Delete button to delete records from the queue field once they are selected, or click the Refresh button to update the field after entering new filter information.
  9. Click the Clear button to clear all queue information from the queue field to start a new filter search.

Viewing Activity Log Actions

  1. Click the Activity Log tab to view a list of completed synchronizations.
  2. Select a radio button from the Synch Version option on the Synchronization page. Select either All, 1.0, or 2.x to filter accordingly.
  3. Click the Host drop-down list to view available hosts to filter by. This defaults to All. Click the Show inactive hosts checkbox to show inactive hosts in the search.
  4. Select a checkbox from the Record Types option on the Synchronization page to search for a specific queue type. Select Location, User, Order Choice, Clinical Info, User Defined Field, Race, Ethnicity, and/or Specimen Source to narrow the search for matching records. When the checkboxes are selected, the queue field will reload automatically.
  5. Select a checkbox from the Event Types option on the Synchronization page to search for a specific queue type. Select the List updated records, List unsynched records, Synch record, Test connection, Update record, and/or Get record to narrow the search for matching records. When the checkboxes are selected, the queue field will reload automatically.
  6. Enter a date and time in the format MM/DD/YYYY, HH:MM AM/PM in the Start and End fields, or select a date from the calendar view by clicking the calendar icon located next to the fields. The start date defaults to 12:00 AM on the current date, and the end date defaults to 11:59 PM on the current date. Click Now to enter the current date and time. Click Clear to clear the date and time fields.
  7. Enter a record name into the Record Name field to search for a specific record. If the record does not exist, "No matching records found" will appear in the display area.
  8. Click the Failed Events drop-down list to filter by failed event types. Select either Do not display failed events, Include in search results, or Only display failed events. Select the Hide messages with no response checkbox to hide messages that have no response.
  9. Once you filter the list, Copia displays the Record, Record Type, Event Type, Host, Synch Version, Message Received, Inbound Message, Message Sent, Outbound Message, and Status for each instance where a synchronization is completed.
  10. Click the Refresh button to update the field after entering new filter information.

Viewing Detail Actions

  1. Click the Details tab to view details for selected synchronizations.
  2. Select a radio button from the Synch Version option on the Synchronization page. Select either 1.0 or 2.x to filter accordingly.
  3. Click the Host drop-down list to view available hosts to filter by. This defaults to "All." Click the Show inactive hosts checkbox to show inactive hosts in the search.
  4. Click the Last Successful Synch Time or Last Record Update Time drop-down list to choose an option to filter by synch or update time.
  5. Enter a date and time in the format MM/DD/YYYY, HH:MM AM/PM in the Start and End fields, or select a date from the calendar view by clicking the calendar icon located next to the fields. The start date defaults to 12:00 AM on the current date, and the end date defaults to 11:59 PM on the current date. Click Now to enter the current date and time. Click Clear to clear the date and time fields.
  6. Select a checkbox from the Record Types option on the Synchronization page to search for a specific queue. Select Location, User, Order Choice, User Defined Field, Race, Ethnicity, and/or Specimen Source to narrow the search for matching records. When the checkboxes are selected, the queue field will reload automatically.
  7. Enter a record name into the Record Name field to search for a specific record. If the record does not exist, "No matching records found" will appear in the display area.
  8. Click the Synch Selected button to synch selected rows. Click the Unsynch Selected button to unsynch selected rows. Click the Refresh button to update the field after entering new filter information.
  9. Once you filter the list, Copia displays the Record, Type, Host, Harvest Key, Host Code, Last Successful Synch, and Last Record Update for each instance where there is detailed synchronization information.
  10. Click the Clear button to clear all queue information from the queue field to start a new filter search.
