Use the Required Info page to enter missing information that is required by your location to save orders (e.g., patient demographic information).

Entering Required Information

  1. Copia displays the fields that are currently empty for the patient, but are defined as required by your location. Copia System Administrators may create the location-specific required information in the Locations administration page. See the Admin: Locations page. Note that a system administrator may assign a security right to one or more roles to disregard required fields, if appropriate.
  2. Enter the necessary information, and then click Continue Saving Order (or press the [Alt] [S] hotkey) to place the order. Required information may include:
  3. Click the Cancel button to return to the Order Patient Samples page to modify the order or access the patient's record.
