Page Description

Use the Countries administration page to add or edit countries. This page allows for expanded support for international addresses in Copia. The following setup pages will now use a drop-down list to select the country for the address information: Demographics page, Hosts, Locations, Practices, Users, Insurance, and Countries administration pages. This page may be used to add countries to the drop-down list that displays on the setup pages with address form information. Existing country information will remain intact, but manually entering address information will limit the Country field to values configured in the Countries administration page.

Accessing this Page

• Click the Administration menu button, click the Other Setup button, and then click the Countries submenu link. You must have the necessary security permissions to access the Administration menu button and to access the Countries administration page.

When you click the Administration menu button, Copia opens the main Administration menu, which contains administrative menu buttons, including the Other Setup menu. To return to the main menu for Copia, click the Lab Tasks menu button.

1. The Countries page contains a list of up to ten countries. If the list is longer than one page, use the Page links, located below the list of studies, to navigate through the list.
2. Enter text into the Country field to search for a country. This is a search-as-you-type field.
3. If you cannot find the desired country, click the Add button to add a country to the list. See "Adding or Editing Countries" below.
4. Click the country name on the Country list page to view or edit country information on the Country details page. See "Adding or Editing Countries" below.

Adding or Editing Countries

1. Use the Country Details section of the Country details page to add or edit a country.
2. Enter the name of the country in the Name field. This field is required.
3. Enter a code in the Country code field to set a country code for a country. The country code is a 3-letter code used to identify a country throughout HL7 2.5.1 messages. The country code field will only be available if Copia's license file contains the license for HL7 2.5.1.
4. Click < Back to List to return to the Country list page without saving any changes.
5. Click the Save button to record changes and return to the Country list page.
