Use the Report Order Choice Lists page to add or edit the list of order choice lists available for custom patient requisitions.

When you create a Report Order Choice List, there are no restrictions as to which order choices or profiles may be added to the list; however, Copia only allows you to add multiples of an order choice to a report order choice list if the order choice's settings allow you to add it to an order multiple times. Copia enforces the restriction when a Blank Patient Requisition is created for a patient. At that time, Copia compares each order choice to the patient's practice to see if the current patient can have the order choice in question ordered for them. This means that not all of the order choices in the Report Order Choice Lists that you have added to the report will necessarily show up on a report.

Accessing this Page

• Click the Administration menu button, click the Other Setup button, and then click the Report Order Choice Lists submenu link. You must have the necessary security permissions to access the Administration menu button and to access the Report Order Choice Lists administration page.

When you click the Administration menu button, Copia opens the main Administration menu, which contains administrative menu buttons, including the Other Setup menu. To return to the main menu for Copia, click the Lab Tasks menu button.

Viewing the Report Order Choice Lists List

1. The Report Order Choice Lists page contains a list of up to ten order choice lists. If the list is longer than one page, use the Page links, located below the list of order choice lists, to navigate through the list.
2. To view only active order choice lists, select the Show active only checkbox at the top of the Report Order Choice Lists page. You set the inactive/active status in the Report Order Choice Lists details page. See "Adding or Editing Report Order Choice List Details" below.
3. To modify the number of lists on the page, adjust the value of the Displaying __ of __ Report Order Choice Lists field. Copia defaults to 10 per page, and displays the total number of items based on your search.
4. If you cannot find the desired order choice list, click the Add List button to add an order choice list, or click the Copy button to create a new order choice list based on the order choice list associated with the Copy button you clicked. See "Adding or Editing Order Choice List Details" below.
5. Click the name of the order choice list on the Report Order Choice Lists list page to view or edit list information on the Report Order Choice Lists details page. See "Adding or Editing Order Choice List Details" below.

Adding or Editing Report Order Choice List Details

1. Use the Report Order Choice List details page to add or edit a list.
2. Enter the name of the list in the Name field. This field is required.
3. To edit the name of the list, highlight or delete text already displayed in the field, then modify as desired.
4. Select the Active checkbox to enable users to select the order choice list while creating custom patient requisitions. Clear this checkbox to restrict users from selecting the order choice list. If the list is inactive, Copia clears it from the Report Order Choice Lists list page when you select the Show active only checkbox. See "Viewing the Report Order Choice Lists List" above.
5. Enter one or more characters in the Order Choice Search field to open the Order Choice Search quicksearch pop-up window, where you may select the order choices or profiles for the order choice list. Copia displays all of the order choices and profiles that matched your search in the Available Order Choices list. You may select the Search All Order Choices or Search Order Choice Lists options (or press the [Ctrl] [Spacebar] hotkey) to have Copia search the selected group of order choices, or you may select the Search Profiles option to only search for profiles that match your entry. Copia determines the default search group based on a setting in the Application page. If the list is longer than one page, use the Page links, located below the list of order choices and profiles, to navigate through the list.

Press the [Enter] key on your keyboard to add the first order choice or profile on the list to the Selected Order Choices list, or click the abbreviation of one or more order choices or profiles to add them to the Selected Order Choices list. Then, click the Save button (or press the [Alt] [O] hotkey) to add the selected order choices to the Report Order Choice Lists details page.

6. As you are adding order choices, note the following:
   • By default, Copia adds the new order choices to the bottom of the list of order choices.
   • If you select one order choice on the list prior to performing the order choice search, Copia adds the new order choice(s) directly below the selected order choice.
   • If you select more than one order choice on the list prior to performing the order choice search, Copia adds the new order choice(s) directly below the last selected order choice.
   • Copia automatically highlights the newly added order choices after you add them to the list.
7. Once you have added one or more order choices, you may modify the order of the order choices by selecting one or more order choices (using the Ctrl or Shift keys as necessary) and clicking the Move Up, Remove, or Move Down buttons.
8. Click the Alphabetize button to have Copia place all of the order choices in the list in alphabetical order. If you select one or more order choices, then Copia displays the Alphabetize Selection button. Click this button to have Copia place all of the order choices you selected in alphabetical order.
9. To reset all selected order choices to an unselected state, select one or more order choices, and then click the Clear Selection button.
10. Select an option to set the Display Format. This format only affects this page; Copia does not save this setting.
• Name: Displays the full names of the order choices on the list.
• Abbreviation: Displays the abbreviations of the order choices on the list.
• Alternate ID1: Displays the alternate name for the order choice, as defined on the Order Choices administration page. If there is no alternate ID, Copia displays "-blank-" as the value.
11. Click Cancel to return to the Report Order Choice Lists list page without saving any changes.
12. Click Save to record changes and return to the Report Order Choice Lists list page.
