Add/Edit List

Page Description

Use the Add/Edit List page to view, add, or edit the personal and system order choice lists that are displayed on the Order Patient Samples and Order Choice Pick List pages. While only an Orchard Copia Administrator may add or modify system lists, you may create one or more personal lists to organize the list of order choices. By separating the order choices into categories that are meaningful to you, using personal lists may make selecting the order choices for an order faster and easier.

Adding Personal Lists
  1. Enter the desired name for the list in the List Name* field. This is the name that Copia will use for the list on the Order Patient Samples and Order Choice Pick List pages. This field is required.
  2. Enter a description of the list in the List Description field.
  3. Select a list from the Available Lists drop-down list. This causes Copia to display the order choices that are available for the selected list beneath the Available Lists field. Use the scroll bar to view the entire list, if necessary.
  4. Select the order choices or profiles you wish to add to the selected list. Once you select an order choice, Copia adds it to the list of selected order choices in the field on the right. See the Selecting Order Choices topic.
  5. You may also enter one or more characters into the search field, and then click Search to find a specific order choice for the list in the Order Choice Search page. See the Order Choice Search topic. Select an order choice in the Order Choice Search page to return to this page with the order choice added to the list of selected order choices.
  6. Continue selecting order choices until the list contains all of the appropriate order choices.
  7. Click Cancel to return to the Order Choice Lists page without saving your changes.
  8. Click Save to save the new personal list and return to the Order Choice Lists page.

Editing Personal Lists
  1. Modify the name of the list in the List Name* field, if desired.
  2. Modify the description of the list in the List Description field, if desired.
  3. Select a list from the Available Lists drop-down list. This causes Copia to display the order choices that are available to add to the selected list and the order choices that have already been selected. Use the scroll bar to view these lists, if necessary.
  4. You may also enter one or more characters into the search field, and then click Search to find a specific order choice for the list in the Order Choice Search page. See the Order Choice Search topic. Select an order choice in the Order Choice Search page to return to this page with the order choice added to the list of selected order choices.
  5. Select or remove order choices so that the selected list contains the correct order choices. See the Selecting Order Choices topic.
  6. Click Cancel to return to the Order Choice Lists page without saving your changes.
  7. Click Save to save the modifications to the list and return to the Order Choice Lists page.

Viewing System List Details
  1. Review the details of the list, including the list name, list description, and order choices on the list. Because you have selected a system list, you are not allowed to modify the settings. Contact an Orchard Copia Administrator if changes are required for this list.
  2. Click Cancel to return to the Order Choice Lists page when you are finished viewing the details for the selected System List.
