Admin: User Action Log Settings

Page Description

Use the User Action Log Settings page to configure how frequently Copia purges the User Actions Log. There are separate purge settings for each type of action you may track, so you may individually enable purging for one or more categories. By default, Copia does not purge the logs.

Establishing User Action Log Settings

  1. Enter the number of days Copia should hold messages in the Patient View Log in the Purge Patient View Log Every __ Days field. You may enter any number between one and 365. Copia defaults to 91 days. Configure purge time and day(s) by using the Run at field and view the next purge date/time in the Next Scheduled Purge area. By entering a day and time in the available fields, the purgers will run on the chosen day(s) at the specified time. Select the Export patient view log records on purge checkbox to have Copia save purged records to a file that you may view from the Export View administration page. See the Admin: Export View topic. Enter an amount in the Purge Patient View Log Export Files After ___ Days field to determine how many days to keep Patient View Log export files. Copia defaults to 365 days. Enter an archive file path in the Patient View Archive File Path field, followed by clicking the Test button to test the path.
  2. Enter the number of days Copia should hold messages in the Order View Log in the Purge Order View Log Every __ Days field. You may enter any number between one and 365. Copia defaults to 91 days. Configure purge time and day(s) by using the Run at field and view the next purge date/time in the Next Scheduled Purge area. By entering a day and time in the available fields, the purgers will run on the chosen day(s) at the specified time. Select the Export order view log records on purge checkbox to have Copia save purged records to a file that you may view from the Export View administration page. See the Admin: Export View topic. Copia defaults to 91 days. Configure purge time and day(s) by using the Run at field and view the next purge date/time in the Next Scheduled Purge area. By entering a day and time in the available fields, the purgers will run on the chosen day(s) at the specified time. Select the Export other actions log records on purge checkbox to have Copia save purged records to a file that you may view from the Export View administration page. See the Admin: Export View topic. Enter an archive file path in the Other Actions Archive File Path field, followed by clicking the Test button to test the path.
  4. Enter the number of days Copia should hold messages in the HL7/Doc. Changes Log in the Purge Interface Changes Every __ Days field. You may enter any number between one and 365. Copia defaults to 7 days. Configure purge time and day(s) by using the Run at field and view the next purge date/time in the Next Scheduled Purge area. By entering a day and time in the available fields, the purgers will run on the chosen day(s) at the specified time. Select the Export HL7/Doc. Changes records on purge checkbox to have Copia save purged records to a file that you may view from the Export View administration page. See the Admin: Export View topic. Enter an amount in the Purge Interface Changes Export Files After ___ Days field to determine how many days to keep HL7/Doc. Changes Log export files. Copia defaults to 365 days. Enter an archive file path in the HL7/Doc. Changes Archive File Path field, followed by clicking the Test button to test the path.
  5. Enter the number of days Copia should hold messages in the Patient Search Log in the Purge Patient Search Log Every __ Days field. You may enter any number between one and 365. Copia defaults to 91 days. Configure purge time and day(s) by using the Run at field and view the next purge date/time in the Next Scheduled Purge area. By entering a day and time in the available fields, the purgers will run on the chosen day(s) at the specified time. Select the Export patient search log records on purge checkbox to have Copia save purged records to a file that you may view from the Export View administration page. Copia defaults to 365 days. Enter an archive file path in the Patient Search Archive File Path field, followed by clicking the Test button to test the path.
  6. Enter the number of days Copia should hold messages in the Sign In/Sign Out Log in the Purge Sign In/Sign Out Log Every __ Days field. You may enter any number between one and 365. Copia defaults to 91 days. Configure purge time and day(s) by using the Run at field and view the next purge date/time in the Next Scheduled Purge area. By entering a day and time in the available fields, the purgers will run on the chosen day(s) at the specified time. Select the Export sign in/sign out log records on purge checkbox to have Copia save purged records to a file that you may view from the Export View administration page. See the Admin: Export View topic. Enter an amount in the Purge Sign In/Sign Out Export Files After ___ Days field to determine how many days to keep Sign In/Sign Out Log export files. Copia defaults to 365 days. Enter an archive file path in the Sign In/Sign Out Archive File Path field, followed by clicking the Test button to test the path.
  7. Enter the number of days Copia should hold messages in the Report Log in the Purge Report Log Every __ Days field. You may enter any number between one and 365. Copia defaults to 91 days. Configure purge time and day(s) by using the Run at field and view the next purge date/time in the Next Scheduled Purge area. By entering a day and time in the available fields, the purgers will run on the chosen day(s) at the specified time. Select the Export report log records on purge checkbox to have Copia save purged records to a file that you may view from the Export View administration page. See the Admin: Export View topic. Enter an amount in the Purge Report Log Export Files After ___ Days field to determine how many days to keep Report Log export files. Copia defaults to 365 days. Enter an archive file path in the Report Log Archive File Path field, followed by clicking the Test button to test the path.
  8. Click the Save button to save any changes made on the User Action Log Settings page, or click the Cancel button to return to the System Defaults administration page without saving any changes.
