Using the HPDF Reporting Feature

Feature Description

Setting up Harvest LIS to generate reports in HPDF format allows you to ensure that reports generated in Harvest LIS and Copia are identical. For this to happen, Harvest LIS creates PDF reports with blank headers and footers and saves them to a specific location on the network. Copia looks for these files, and, based on the filename and information embedded in the PDF (order choices, status, and criticality of the result that is posting), it associates the reports with the correct order and adds headers and footers to the reports, if appropriate, before delivering them.
