Using Hotkeys
Feature Description

In addition to mouse commands, Copia uses key combinations known as "hotkeys" to help you move quickly and conveniently through the application.

If you have trouble using Copia’s hotkeys, you may wish to disable programs such as instant messaging (ICQ, Trillian, etc.) because those programs’ hotkeys may override the ones in Copia.

IMPORTANT: If there are conflicting buttons on the page, such as several Save or Select buttons, none will have hotkey access, except for the button located at the bottom of the page (where the Sign Out, Cancel, and Save buttons/links usually are).

Definition of Hotkeys

  1. The phrase "hotkeys" is a computer term for keyboard combinations that act as shortcuts to open specific pages or perform certain functions. Learning these hotkeys can save a great deal of time.
  2. The "Available Hotkeys" section below lists hotkey functions in the system. Note that some hotkeys work throughout the program, while some are specific to a page.

IMPORTANT: If there are conflicting buttons on the page, such as several Save or Select buttons, none will have hotkey access, except for the button located at the bottom of the page (where the Sign Out, Cancel, and Save buttons/links usually are).
