Admin: XML Import
Page Description
Use the XML Import administration page to import XML files into Copia. This functionality, and all related XML import features, are intended for system engineers and support. Users must be a superuser to use this feature.

Accessing this Page
- Click the Administration menu button, click the Manage button, and then click the XML Import submenu link. You must have the necessary security permissions to access the Administration menu button.
When you click the Administration menu button, Copia opens the main Administration menu, which contains administrative menu buttons, including the Manage menu. To return to the main menu for Copia, click the Lab Tasks menu button.

Viewing XML Import Settings
- Click the Timezone field at the top of the XML Import administration page to edit the timezone. The Timezones pop-up is displayed, and you may change the timezone by clicking in the drop-down list. Once you have selected a standard time, click the Save button to save the change and return to the XML Import administration page. Click the Cancel button to close the pop-up without saving any changes.
- Displayed above the timezone is the System ID and System Name. These will display the ID and name of your designated system, i.e., Copia 4.
- Click the Set button to set an import directory in the Import Directory field, i.e., c:\orchard\apps\import.
- Select an option from the Settings section to generate a practice from a specific area.
- Single Practice: Select this option to generate a practice from a single practice.
- Locations: Select this option to generate a practice from a location.
- Groups: Select this option to generate a practice from a group.
- Select the Create Synch 2.x mappings checkbox to create synch 2.x mappings for the XML import in Copia. When checked, Copia will synchronize all of the imported records with the "CodeSet1" host.

Viewing XML Import Operations
- Click the Prepare Import button to prepare the import after you have checked the Create Synch 2.x mappings checkbox.
- Click the Import Data button to import data once the Prepare Import operation is complete. A warning will appear in red if the import directory is empty.
