Admin: Test Search

Page Description

Use the Test Search page to select the tests that should appear in the selected section of the Cumulative Report. By default, this page lists all of the active tests in the system, but you may select whether the list includes only the tests already selected for the group or only the tests that are not already selected for the group. Copia also allows you to search for tests by test name or by order choice name. If you search by order choice name, you then select one or more of the tests in the order choice. If you cannot find the desired test, you may create a new test using the Tests administration page. See the Admin: Tests topic.

Selecting Test Search Results by Test

  1. Select an option to control which tests Copia displays in the Select Tests for Section section of the Test Search list page:
  2. The Test Search page contains a list of up to ten tests. If the list is longer than one page, use the Page links, located below the list of tests, to navigate through the list. If there are more page links than can fit on the page at once, Copia displays the Page field. Enter a number in this field and press the Enter key on the keyboard to immediately open the selected page.
  3. To narrow the list of displayed tests, or to find a specific test, enter one or more characters in the Search field, and then click the Search button. Click one of the test list options (All tests, Unassigned tests, or Tests in group) to return to the list of tests.
  4. You may also search for tests based on the order choice to which they belong. See "Selecting Test Search Results by Order Choice" below.
  5. Click Cancel to return to the Cumulative Report Settings tab on the Reporting administration page without selecting any tests.
  6. Select the Selected checkbox for each test you wish to add, and then click the OK button to return to the Cumulative Report Settings tab on the Reporting administration page with those tests added to the cumulative report section. See the Admin: Reporting topic. To remove a test from the cumulative report section, clear the Selected checkbox, and then click the OK button.
  7. If you cannot find the desired test, you may create a new test using the Tests administration page. See the Admin: Tests topic.

Selecting Test Search Results by Order Choice

  1. Select the Display by order choice checkbox to display all active order choices instead of tests in the Select Tests for Section section on the Test Search list page. To view or search the entire list of tests, clear this checkbox. See "Selecting Test Search Results by Test" above.
  2. The Select Tests for Section section changes to display a list of up to ten order choices. If the list is longer than one page, use the Page links, located below the list of order choices, to navigate through the list.
  3. To narrow the list of displayed order choices, or to find a specific order choice, enter one or more characters in the Search field, and then click the Search button. Click the List option to return to the full list of order choices.
  4. Click an order choice name to view the Order Choice Details section in the Test Search details page. This section displays the name and abbreviation for the order choice, as well as all of the tests included in the order choice.
  5. Click Cancel to return to Test Search list page without selecting any tests.
  6. Select the Selected checkbox for each test you wish to add, and then click the OK button to return to the Test Search list page. To remove a test from the cumulative report section, clear the Selected checkbox, and then click the OK button.
  7. Click the OK button on the Test Search list page to return to the Cumulative Report Settings tab on the Reporting administration page with those tests added to the cumulative report section. See the Admin: Reporting topic.
  8. If you cannot find the desired test, you may create a new test using the Tests administration page. See the Admin: Tests topic.
